very wet, course should not have been open. mud all over the greens were not to bad, hey it was just nice to get out and play

Played in the middle of the hot spell and the course showed it. The greens were impeccable but just far too solid, almost no chance to make the ball stick.
It's a pretty forgettable track apart from the last three holes, you feel like your stood on Heathrow runway, all the holes cross the shot path of each other, you don't know where to look or when to play. Badly designed and extremely dangerous.

Friendly Golf Club
Pike Hills has quite tight fairways. I feel the back nine are more interesting than the front nine. The front nine are closely associated with Askham bog, so be aware that there are quite a few mosquitoes around in summer, particularly on holes 6 and 7. The driving range and putting green are very user friendly. The balls on the range vary in quality, but at ?1.00 for thirty with a card, very good value.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, held up well despite rain
Well sorted course, good facilities and accommodating for our large group. Course held up well despite the amount of rain both before and after the game.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 105 Handicap: 28)

Handy for the outlets. Course was well warn from the sun but the greens were in good condition. Nice clubhouse too.

A very heavy wet and boggy course. Very frustrating as we spent a lot of time looking for many lost / plugged balls which we knew were on the perifery of the fairway. Won't play again in winter.

Greens are in much better condition than earlier in the year. Like all golf, keep to the fairways or difficult shots await out of the rough.

The course was drying out,played of tee mats,also had to play of mats on fairways to protect it,this was new to me and made playing the course a bit of a let down for me personally .Would like to play it again when it is at its best.

Good the greens a bit slow, a nice test of golf, not a long course, but the greens can prove to be difficult, would play again

Good testing thinking mans course despite the short length.got in trouble a few times by not knowing the course. Greens were very true for early season but could have been more receptive.
