Straightforward course largely flat and a bit featureless, damp in places - , bunkers and a few ponds as hazards but the main one is that posed by Canada geese! Couple of fairways and paths affected by their excrement but the worst was 15th - a dense settling place for about 50 or so short of the green - even so couldn't get a goose never mind a birdie. They were reluctant to move and it was impossible to zig zag round their excrement as there was too much - just had to plough through and clean up later - mega put off ,spoilt the day and unlikely to revisit often unless the problem is resolved. A shame.

The course seems very new and has very little maturity about it. Lots of sprouting, young trees and wide open fairways.
The course is very "up and down" and there are very few challenges throughout.
The fairways and greens are nicely kept, but the greens are very narrow front to back and you can quite often be punished for decent shots. Considering it is advertised as USGA greens, I wasn't hugely impressed.
Its a short course and will not suit those of you who enjoy long sweeping holes and invitations to take out 'the big stick' at every opportunity.
Overall, a disappointing course having read the reviews. I will not be going back and I wouldn't recommend it to friends for £20.

Improving course
Second visit, the course is definitely improving - first visit wasn't overly impressed, second visit & much better feedback. Nice mix of holes, good greens, well priced.Reviewer Rating

Nice Track
A nice course, fairly easy to play, but will punish you if off line with water & a few trees.Greens are in fantastic condition, running smooth & true.
There are some nice undulations & good use of the contours, but overall it is fairly flat.
A bit of signage needed between 2 & 3, 11 & 12, 15 & 16.
Also be aware on the 10th hole, the whites are in front of the yellows, which are in front of the reds, it's just a bit confusing first time round.
Definitely worth playing if you're in the area

Developing course
Played for the first time, feels like a course that needs severalMore years to mature as in places it still feels like a farmers field. Some nice holes with water and an odd elevation change but overall, nothing special yet.

Only the 2nd time I have played it and found it quite an easy course. Although saying that my last round was on the Brabazon and my brothers at Turnberry so from these courses, many courses would seem easy. However it helped not missing any put inside 6ft on quite slow green that were ok, some were a bit bobbly (by Belfry standards). Happily play again as its a tactical course that good golf management should mean a confidence building round.

The course is very open and the back 9 is certainly better than the front, but overall there are few memorable holes to make you want to rush back.
I liked the 12th hole, which is a dogleg right par 4 where you play your tee shot up a hill to the fairway, and the par 3 16th is quite a nice hole too, but generally the look of the rest of the holes are pretty much similar to each other.
That isn't to say that this isn't a course that's worth playing, as the fairways and greens were all in very good condition.
I didn't really use the clubhouse and so can't really comment on that.
