TERRIBLE CONDITION AUG 2017
I have played this course over a number of years with our golf society but yesterday was the worse course I have played. Let me explain the Greens were patchy worn and terrible to put on as well as this they were like concrete you could not stop a chip or a wedge to them, but the Bunkers had no sand in them at all or were still waterlogged never been drained. It seems all the money has been spent on a Stone Wall in the lake on the 9th hole instead of the Golf CourseReviewer Rating

Course very muddy. Greens is very bad condition and tees, you would be lucky to find any grass left.

A nice setting. The tees and greens are in the worst condition that i have seen this year. Shame, as the course has real potential.

hi just played this course yesterday greens were poor i know u have to prepare for winter and hollowtining is needed but their was so much sand on them you dont get a true roll and speed but will return next spring dont waste your money now

A very long and, to be frank, pretty boring round of golf. The course has little in the way of features and relys on its length alone to test.
It is over priced as well £35 in the summer, no way in the world is it worth that! They do offer a '2 for 1' deal, but this is misleading as you have to pay for a full days golf rather than a single round to get half price golf.
The pros in the staff shop have got chips on their shoulders and don't make visitors particulary welcome, shame as there is a nice clubhouse, good food and a decent driving range available.
Much better courses and deals around than this place I am afraid!

Good Course, needs TLC
Course played well, however care needed with the greens suffering with bare patches and the bunkers in need of sand.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.4)

Very windy but the course played fairly well, bar staff very good food prices very reasonable.

Really Bad weather sleet and rain, greens were a little grainy but on the hole the course played really well for this time of year.

A course for the longer hitters, you can open your shoulders on a number of holes. A testing track with a great finishing stretch. Greens are the only disappointment as they are not in great condition.
