Another nice course in Shropshire. Very well kept greens if you are good at putting. I'm not.

Outstanding course
On the longest day of the year and probably the hottest, the course was in fantastic condition. Fairways quite wide but position off the tee was everything. Greens fast and true which made putting a pleasure with no unexpected deviations. Some bunkers had an awful lot of sand in them, probably recent maintenance, which made getting any distance control really hard. The clubhouse was lovely and even a small society of 8 was made to feel welcome. This one should be in your "must try" list!(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 17.2)

Very disappointed. Potentially a great course but overprotective and poor greens management from committee / head greenkeeper. Played on a dry January day after early morning light frost. No frost on greens and all 18 were temporary. Greenstaff sat in warm shed rather than going out to reinstate pins, all because of members comp the next day. Not visitor / society friendly which is a shame as the catering was excellent

Course was ok quite tight lost a few balls but overall nothing that stood out as great, clubhouse ok greens not bad for the time of year

Really nice course. Even in the damp conditions, it held up really well and was a very good challenge! Some really nice holes as well, and some very challenging greens, even without the course being very long.
Staff throughout were really friendly, and value for money throughout was great; paid much more for worse!!! Will definitely return in the summer!
