First time of playing here
Really should have played this coarse sooner as it is only 15 minutes away from home. It snowed got a bit windy and ended up sunny. Will be playing a bit more regular.Reviewer Rating

Poor maintenence poor condition
Shame Cray used to be good...the course owners seem to be interested in profit over condition of the course seem no money has been invested in tees greens fairways not to mention the clubhouse which is falling down, also sparse pro shop....Reviewer Rating

Dry but greens being looked after in the heatwave
Facilities are drastically reduced because of covid19, pro shop screened off, bar closing early and Ruxley is closed and it’s driving range. Amidst a dry heatwave and for £14 it is what I expected. Dry hard fairways and lots of players who don’t repair pitch marks or fairway divots. But the greens are so well watered, their greeness really shone amongst the yellow surroundings and balls were spinning and stopping nicely unlike similar courses where you just watch your ball bounce off and disappointingly out the back. It’s enough of a challenge for most players and I’d go back. I don’t expect the world for £14 and other courses nearby of same level charge upto £30 so I think it’s good value. The 9 hole looked more popular and at 15:00 tee time I was one of only a few left out on the 18 so great opportunity to get some good practise in.Reviewer Rating

Good course once ! Avoid.
OK so recent heatwave has made lots of courses baked, Cray is brown with hard earth. Greens had holes in them that showed no sign of being repaired and had obviously been there for some time. One of the hottest days of the year teed off at 11.40. got in about 3.20 only to find food and drink bar closed at 3.15!
Also Ruxley course appeared closed, driving range closed overall disappointing. Avoid there are better courses available at similar price.

Needs More Maintainence
Few level tee's, lots of holes, too much bare patches around greens. On the plus side it is a forgiving course, wide fairways. Greens are watered.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 16.9)
