Course in great condition
Greens are soft and smooth and run true. Fairways in good nick and current rain has helped all of the hazards and greenery. Friendly bar staff and good value course.Reviewer Rating

1st post lockdown
quite easy but pleasant course, easy to get a tee time as a non-member. First post-covid-lockdown round.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: 20.7)

Pretty and Short Course
There are seven par 3's, only two par 5's, plus five par 4's under 320 yards, so this certainly isn't the longest course you're ever going to play. What it lacks in length it makes up for in the condition though, with excelent greens, tees and fairways. It's not a course that always makes it easy for you either, with a number of narrow, tree lined fairways, and a few ponds here and there. If you're wide from the tee (like I was), then be prepared to reload. The most memerable hole was probably the par 4 9th, which has trees up the left, and a pond on the right that eats into the fairway right where you want to land your tee shot.
I wsn't able to check out the clubhouse due to the plague that's overstaying it's welcome, but from what I could see it looked very pleasant.
Not long, but certainly worth a visit.

Slightly Strange Course
Played here March ,2020 .Easy walking course that has 7 par threes all of which are in the first 14 holes ( & 5 in an 8 hole stretch within this ).
There are also some design issues .The par 4 10th is a poor design as the tee shot aims at a narrowish gap & to compound things a diagonal ditch runs across this gap at driver distance which means the only real way to play it is to knock one down off the tee to be short of this ditch but then this leaves a very long shot in
.
The par 3 5th would be better if the tee was 20 yards to the left , the par 3 6th tee aligns as if the green was more left of where it actually is & the course would flow better if holes 16/17 were reversed .i.e. If 16 went backwards down 17 & 17 backwards up 16 . Also ,beyond the first green there is an accumulation of 4 tees & 3 greens in a smallish area .
I thought the 6th & 11th were the best par 3's.
I got a good deal on Golf Now but the standard green fees are overpriced for what you get but overall it's not a bad place for a knock .

Great Course
Greens are outstanding for the time of year. I am not a very long driver but didn't need to be as there are dog legs on most holes. The only complaint very little sand in the bunkers.Reviewer Rating
