Poor condition course.
I've never seen so many sub 300m holes crammed into a course, so plays very short and not even interesting. Add to that several 3-ball members unwilling to let a single on a buggy through and it all adds up to a frustrating and forgettable round. Never again.

Lacking warmth, atmosphere, typical of a company run club. Another cheap green fee deal would only bring me back again ..... perhaps.

What a shame! Played in a Society Comp at Oak Park which, after all the rain, it should have been closed. The course was water logged in many places, almost unplayable, the greens were very very poor, there were lots of T Mats, and no ball washers. It is one of a Golf Group and simply out to make money, it is not a long course, but poorly designed with silly Par 3's and 5's. The club house was clearly not expecting us and we waited an age for coffee and cold bacon rolls. Not worth the price they charged. This is the sad side of having a club taken over by a group who are profit driven and not player focused.

Just got Pricey

Was a reasonable 18 hole course, but new owners have just changed base rate (before any discounts) from ?27 to ?45. It's a good course, but not a ?45 course. Especially as bar (just re-opened) had no draught beer, no food, and all staff were thin on the ground. I'll be finding a new venue.

bobbly greens

Course was showing wear and tear from hot summer and greens had also just been tined and so made putting a bit of a lottery. Unfortunately there were no notices on the club's website to indicate this which was a bit frustrating. There was a notice in the pro shop when you booked in but that was a bit late!
