Harder than you think
Don't be fooled by the Par 70, this course plays tough. Tight dog legs, sloping fairways and long up hill holes means this can be a real work out. Need to play this course a few times to get the measure of it. Will be returning soon(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 13.5)

tight tricky course
Enjoyed our first visit, we many interesting holes. Definitely need to play 2/3 times to know length of some of the doglegs. good greens recently sanded and tinned but putted reasonably well. Nice elevation changes but not too long.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 19.3)

This is an excellent 18 hole course, and there is also a very good 9 hole course on site. The 18 hole - The Woodland- is set amongst a mixture of park and woodland and features some challenging holes that require both accuracy and good course management. It's layout also means you can play 9 or 14 holes, thus avoiding "The Hill", holes 10-13 which have impacted on many a golfer's score!!
Oak Park is part of the Crown Golf organisation. It is set in lovely countryside, and has very good food and practice facilities, with friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a visist.

Both 18 and 9 hole courses offer challenges to all levels of golfer. Staff always friendly. Green keeper tells me he has a new 'machine' for the greens...they're in best shape ever...a good investment.

Two courses in one. Half parkland, half woodland. Challenging in places. Beautiful place to spend your time. Decent practice areas for putting and chipping. Friendly clubhouse with great cake! Excellent value.

Very helpful team that was useful in getting us out very early in the morning - off first in the day! It is a course that would certainly benefit from a previous visit as some of the holes are blind approaches. Really enjoyed playing here and would recommend a buggie.

Oak Park Revisited
I used to run a Golf Society and this was always a firm favourite. A thinking golfer's course with multiple dog-leg par 4's and testing Par 3's.I was not disappointed with the greens being in good condition and running a little slow purely down to green maintenance typical at this time of year.
Hart Golf seem to be making a good fist of the curses they have taken over this year with Pyrford starting to show signs of past glory.
Keep up the good work, and it was good to meet Green Keepers who were very helpful.
