What the club says: Each hole unique and there are an abundance of cunningly placed hazards laid out to maximise the challenge you will face.
The club first opened for business in 1910 and now has a significant and friendly membership that rises year on year. It benefits further from fine picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. A really wonderful place to enjoy some golf.

Most Helpful Review
A bit rough and ready and the first couple of holes have had work done which means that the right hand of the fairways are just rubble. However, for a municipal it's great value for money and a well laid out course with a good mix of long and short holes. Not the prettiest of courses but well worth it for a quick, cheap game. - Nov 7 2011

Council recently took over course is improving and time is required to get the course up to standard fairways were good but tee boxes and greens are a long way from being up to standard £15charged not expensive but course not worth that

Much better now that the landscaping is completed. A few banks still need to bed in
(Round played: Dec 2015 - Score: 79 Handicap: 13.3)
Very flat course, without much in way of character but some tight fairways mixed with some very wide gives a new golfer a good test.
Might be a half decent, cheap round in the summer, but i wont be rushing back.

The clubhouse and staff were very friendly, the course itself is good they are doing a lot of work around the course. But the greens were in very poor condition and was the biggest disappointment of the course
(Round played: Apr 2014 - Score: 105 Handicap: 24.9)
