Course drying out nicely. Good test for any golfer. Greens excellent. Working from temporary buildings while clubhouse is built. New clubhouse looks great. Friendly/Warm welcome from pro \'portakabin\'.. very chatty and friendly. Would recommend.

Picturesque parkland course. Fairways,greens in good condition. Still playing off some mats (not so good). New clubhouse well under way being built after fire destroyed old clubhouse. Parking can be a bit tight as a result with the building going on so allow time to park

Very well kept, easy to walk and definitely a thinking mans course. Very unforgiving tree lines for those slightly stray tee shots

Lovely course and well kept, however I would strongly suggest you play BNorthenden in the dry, as being located next to the Mersey it doesnt take water well and gets quick boggy with surface water patches quite evident.

Society Day
Had a wonderful day at Northenden - all our members commented on the quality of the greens, for mid November they were exceptional. Warm welcome on arrival for brekkie and in the bar afterwards. Very playable despite recent rain, good mix of holes and ongoing improvements making the course better and better.Reviewer Rating

Played on a free four ball voucher won in a charity raffle. Good condition considering rain fall and the time of year. New clubhouse was very modern. New spike bar very good apart from the noise echoes, could hear older members in the corner complaining non stop about all sorts and even told us not to play here this time of year! Not a great advert for the club. Bar staff and pro very welcoming. Would recommend.

Playing in the autumn can be tricky on some courses, but not here. The greens staff were busy clearing the leaves and cutting the grass. It had rained heavily in the morning but the course was still very playable. The fairways were not very wide, but the semi rough was not too punishing. The trees on the edge of the holes provide definition, the river should not be in play on any hole. The course is noisy due to the motorway, but this is not a major downside.

MUST VISIT
Fantastic course, very welcoming pro. Must play. Drainage very good. Only complaint is that of the members inside the club. Very negative!.... even told me how poor they felt the clubhouse was! I think it is great!Reviewer Rating
