Played on a Sunday afternoon when it's £21 after 2.00. Great course and the back nine a real challenge. Mind the cars which criss cross part of the back nine!!

Greens very fast, having just been sanded after tining three weeks ago. Course is in good condition with fairways cut tight and rough not too menacing.

Lovely open course of 2 halves as the back 9 holes are on open common land so no bunkers - yay!! Instead there are several hedges and the dreaded gorse - boohoo!! This makes the whole course rather interesting.

Played today with my other half. We loved it! Really quirky on the back 9 (the James Braid designed holes from 1907) The fairways are fantastic, that bouncy feeling only old courses have. The greens are in good shape for the time of year and I can imagine they get really quick in the summer. Loved the fact that the course runs alongside the road on the back 9. Really well kept and will be going back very soon :-) Shaun & Sharon

The course is still in great shape despite the amount of rain we've had. Greens are still quite fast and a joy to play.
