Overrated
Overrated club. Swailend is a better test of golf, but is so open it becomes easy. Hawkshill is over hyped, just play safe of the tee and it's really easy. Hit driver and you risk finding trees and will struggle for par. But with some course management, it's easy. Fairways are often in poor condition. Greens are good. Fantastic golf club

Two 18 hole courses with the inner being the better of the two (Hawkshill). Has plenty of challenging holes to test your game. Water comes into play on a few holes, especially the 9th and 10th holes which can be tricky.

Two Courses Hawkshill which is recognised as the more difficult and Swailend which is more open.

Challenging But Scenic
Lovely course, providing various challenges for the average golfer.Very scenic, with holes over water and through trees.
Played as a visitor as part of a competition and would happily play the course again.
Great facilities and food, with very friendly and helpful staff.

Course in very good condition. Excellent layout, very friendly staff in pro shop. Definitely worth the green fee.

Course was in good nick for the time of year. Staff very friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for you. Love playing there and would always recommend the club.

Good course in good condition but perhaps should not have been open. Ground was soaking across the course so finding playable lies was tough
