Not a course to bother travelling to. It is in reasonable condition but has little to recomend it as a course or from it's location.

Well it was free

Looked nice , fairways quite good but the greens were horrendous, no work been done on them all winter by the looks of it . Bumpy and very patchy

great easter mondays golf with the course in good condition the greens were perfect and well looked after

Better than expected!

Newbiggin is a course I have visited many times before, but just for a leisurely walk along the seaside rather than a round of golf. Impressions from the seaside were that the course looks largely flat and uninteresting, but it was somewhere I hadn’t played before therefore I was keen to try it out.

We visited at the beginning of April and the greens were already in fantastic condition, despite having just been spiked. The opening holes hug the shoreline and are indeed flat, but then you enter the dunes for some proper links holes which were great fun and a nice change from the parkland golf I usually play. The closing stretch is again flat as it leads back into the town but this is a course that exceeded my expectations and I would have no hesitation in returning.

Expect a tough test if it is windy
