First time here and impressed. Good layout and although some tees are a walk from the previous green it is well signposted. Greens are quite large and there are one or two fun holes. A longer than normal course and one where you would hope to drive well.

Pleasant Return
I haven't played this course in many years and it have matured quite magnificently in the ensuing time the recent rain help it to have very lush greens and fairways(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 13)

Nice course, in general in good condition. My general moan is bunkers. Greenside bunkers sand so deep you sink up to your ankles. Fairway bunkers, no sand at all and no indication as to whether it is GUR.

Good for this time of year,greens are great the green keepers are working hard shame people don’t rake the bunkers also repair pitch marks!!!

First Time at Nazeing
Got a groupon voucher for two at Nazeing, really enjoyed the round in was played under a lot of winter tees which my sister felt were really challenging on the red tees. Enjoyed the round and course although I think in Summer it would be completely different. Thought the 19th hole was dissapointing, nice service but no food really and fairly tired surroundings(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 20.7)

Great Groupon Deal
Normally £32 at the weekend, but the Groupon deal meant it was a £5 round. Great course for that price, however it does attract different golfers. We were stuck behind a 4 ball, with buggies, all day (only 3 of us) and they did not want to let us through. We was on the tee with them sometimes!Looking past that the course was nice and greens were consistent. Not the longest course but picking your way round can be tricky. Bunkers that are there are in great condition, looks like a number have been removed for some reason though.

A good course
Some of the bunkers still need working on,but the ones that have been are good.ground staff are working hard on the greens after the winter and the fairways are good.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 21)

Fairly forgiving course in good condition but quite expensive given the time of the year, ?28 each on a 3 ball. A few holes teed off of temporary mats (not uncommon for winter) and the greens were ok despite being frozen early on. Lots of bunkers GUR but those that did have sand in were nice. There are cheaper courses nearby but you can get on here as a non member early at the weekends. Toilets and changing facilities were very old and not very nice.

This is a nice course to play. Temporary mate's are not to great as you can not get a tea in the but that is my only fault with the course. If you use groupon it works out a lot cheaper to play. It should of been £28 pound but used groupon and wss £17 which also includes a bucket of balls for range a coffee and bacon roll.

Good course getting better.
