This is a great venue with 27 holes set in a stunning location. This was my first game here on over 20 years and it did not disappoint. After a warm and welcome reception in the well stocked pro shop I played the older and in my opinion best 2 loops of 9 holes - The Ardean and the Cowden.\No two holes are the same and the layout will test most of the clubs in your bag - however the big plus are the stunning views from many of the holes so even if you are not on your game - just look around you and feel blessed by the surroundings.\After the round a visit to the clubhouse was no less inviting and a good pint of beer and a “traditional” lorne sausage and black pudding roll hit the spot perfectly.\This golf course is not expensive and you can also pick up late minute bargains on-line so if you are in the area - make a point of checking it out if you are looking for a great value course.Reviewer Rating

A challenging Sunday stroll, this was a first time on the Naemoor, got to hit the fairways a brilliant wee course was interested in the football golf, might be time to try it as normal golf needs to get better. Try it you won't be disappointed, especially if its free with bunkered.

The Cowden is a challenge, the wind picked up and careful shot selection is required.
Greens in fantastic condition, despite the heavy rains in the week.
