Only a 9 hole course now for £10. They've built a children's play area, Segway riding, horse riding, high ropes and more stuff coming soon so take the family. The course was in good nick. On a couple of holes it was difficult to see where to go as very wide fairways on a couple of holes and couldn't see the pin from the tee. Being built where it is there's big variances in heights on certain holes Worth a visit and ill definately be visiting again. Weather has taken its toll on the fairways, fairways are hard . But credit to green keepers greens were emaculate.v

Was quite impressed with this course. Beautiful scenery, and a pleasant walk around. It\'s well maintained and a lot of people were in the fields next to it talking a walk round! \There\'s some sort of adventure playground on the site as well, which means I can drop the wife and kids there next time while I play a round! \Well worth £10. \\

They have a 9 hole municipal course called "Castle Heights" on the same site. It is an ideal course for those like myself who are just starting out in golf.£9.00 per round and there is always a tee time available.

only played at this course once, however allthough it was a demanding course, it had clear fairways, beautifull views.friendly shop staff.
£20 a for a round during the week

Nice course
Being fair weather golfers this was our first round for a few months and we wanted to go somewhere different to start off. A few of us had played Castell Heights many years ago so we decided to give it a try.I have to say it brought back lots of memories and was just as fun as we remembered. The course was in great condition considering the weather we?d had with full value given for good shots. The fairways are wide enough so that errant shots (we made quite a lot of these!) are not penalised too badly.
The greens were in on the whole in good condition but a bit bobbly in places causing the ball to jump around but not so bad they spoiled the putting experience.
Some of the bunkers need some work, being more pebble beaches than bunkers.
On the whole a good course, challenging but fun.
