(Round played: Jun 2015 - Score: 99 Handicap: 25.6)Castell heights is the only course at this venue. The new owners have improved the condition of the course.The sand in the bunkers shames many prestige courses in the area.
Don't be put of that this is predominantly pay and play.There are a good variety of holes and you play the course twice from the same tees. Limited clubhouse facilities and no pro shop.

Was quite impressed with this course. Beautiful scenery, and a pleasant walk around. It\'s well maintained and a lot of people were in the fields next to it talking a walk round! \There\'s some sort of adventure playground on the site as well, which means I can drop the wife and kids there next time while I play a round! \Well worth £10. \\

Only a 9 hole course now for £10. They've built a children's play area, Segway riding, horse riding, high ropes and more stuff coming soon so take the family. The course was in good nick. On a couple of holes it was difficult to see where to go as very wide fairways on a couple of holes and couldn't see the pin from the tee. Being built where it is there's big variances in heights on certain holes Worth a visit and ill definately be visiting again. Course has just bought out of administration, new owners only 9 hole course to remain open. Lots of work going on course, weeding seeding etc.

They have a 9 hole municipal course called "Castle Heights" on the same site. It is an ideal course for those like myself who are just starting out in golf.£9.00 per round and there is always a tee time available.

only played at this course once, however allthough it was a demanding course, it had clear fairways, beautifull views.friendly shop staff.
£20 a for a round during the week
