Pleasant surprise
First time at the course and had a great time. Don't let the car park fool you! Very good mixture of parkland and links style holes to keep you interested, also a couple of ?risk/reward? holes.Will definitely be going back again.

Nice, but pace of play unforgiving
Nice little course. Not the hardest, but pace of play is just so awful, I can’t return. Real shame. Would like to play again, but 4 hours on a Wednesday evening 5 till 9, is basically a joke.Reviewer Rating

An under rated course

My first time playing the course, which had been 'talked up' by quite a few of the Society players who had already played it. The greens didn't disappoint, but for me the rest of the layout and standard of the course, bunkers, fairways, tees was very ordinary. We also followed a club match, which meant it was not very quick, and we played on one of the hottest days of the year so far which distracted from the whole experience. The breakfast we had was very good and piping hot, and the bar and clubhouse facilities were top notch. A further 9 holes are being built, but I don't know when these will be ready, and I also wonder how long the 18 hole course will be bearing in mind the current 9 hole length is only 2801 yards maximum off the white tees. I would like to play the course again, but will probably leave the driver in the bag, as it should be easier to plan your way around the course without trying to get too close to the short par 4's.

Well Kept Course
Nice little golf course, currently under construction. Playing surfaces were tidy. Greens were a decent pace, although ever so slightly bobbly in places, but generally pretty good. Bunkers in good shape, opting for the natural, coarse look around the banks. Enjoyable round in very windy conditions.Reviewer Rating

Best Kept Course & Facilities
You always get a warm welcome from the staff at Mount Pleasant every time we play. After a pro-longed winter and where other courses have suffered, the course this week is looking amassing. Very well kept 9 hole course with 18 tees. (Another 9 holes being built).
Staff are always friendly and the club house is one of the better ones, lovely decking outside looking down on the 9th/18th hole.
