Very nice course - not easy, some tight fairways and some tees and greens very close. Very good practice facilities. Greens in good condition. And quite tricky to read. Very good food and excellent service

Played the West Course for the first time. Shorter than the High Course but still very good. A few blind drives which would be played differently next time. Subtle borrows on greens. Good food in the clubhouse.

Lovely course but while the High justifies its price the West is a touch expensive for what it is. That said, immaculate greens, a great club experience and lovely people will have me back to play the High very soon

Played both courses which were both in very good condition. High Course is better and more challenging but West is still an excellent course too.

Fantastic course in great condition. Played off the yellows so not overly long but still very much a challenge. Greens are well protected and fairway bunkers very well placed. Greens are quick and the undulations are subtle but always present. The clubhouse is absolutely amazing, by far the best I've seen.

This is the second time I have plyed the course in two weeks. The first time in blazing sunshine, the second in teeming raim. Amazingly the course is in great condition, on the hot day the greens were rather firm and lighting fast, 3 putts were the order of the day. In the rain they were still fast and challenging but ir was possible to stop a ball.
On the whole it is a fantastic and rather hilly course set in great surroundings. The club house speaks for itself and the welcome is warm and inviting. It is a little expensive but worth a go.
The West Course is also entertaining but a little shorter and not as mature, the condition remains as good as the High Course.
If I have a complaint it is the practice ground that is a long way from the CLub House and (believe it or not) it is easier to drive to it !
