Best value golf in the country

This has got to be one of the best value golf clubs anywhere. The condition of the Grenville course isn?t great, but certainly a challenge. The main course is very good for ?7 per round and there?s even a 9 hole par 3 course as well.
Accommodation is also available at a bargain price - pretty basic, but all you need for an enjoyable few days of golf on a budget.

Friendly people out on the course. Greens were wet and slow but all in all not a bad round of golf.

You get what you pay for...

A cheap price for a poor course. Don't expect a well maintained course for £7 a round. The greens are rough, the bunkers are solid and the course run down.

Millfield

This is a course that should only be played in winter when it's wet and you then have the slim chance of being able to hold the ball on the greens which are poor... The tee boxes are bare and uneven. The bunkers have no sand at all.. We only play there on our society fundy as its cheap and local. We play there in winter as its the same as spending ?5 at the range.

Perfect for beginners.

Overall the course is perfect for budding golfers to start out. The grounds are relatively easy to navigate once you?ve got your bearings, although hole signage could be improved. The staff are always friendly and the members are always helpful, patient and kind.
The grass is cut regularly and to a decent standard.

Quirky course

This could be a little gem if it had a little bit of TLC. It is what it is empty beer cans and bottles all over..

quirky little course well worth a visit

2nd time ive played there, played the main course out of three both times. Testing inland links course with some interesting and some times difficult holes.Only £7.00 pounds a day so greens not tip top condition though everything else is and well worth the money.
There is also a small driving range.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely play there again
