Course not in too bad condition after the winter. Needs to dry out a bit more to make the course a bit more playable.

All round good course with some excellent holes and a couple less so. A society were playing and while most were cool in letting me through, a couple of groups were idiots which soured things a little. Also the walk from the clubhouse to the actual course is a bit off putting. I'd play again but only on a deal (Tee off Times etc,) not at full price.

Course is really nice and in good condition but very strange set up having to cross a1 to get to course from club house.

Nifty course, was in good condition when I played in June (greens in good shape, course was not dried out yet). Nice staff. Challenging enough to be fun.

No Temporary greens and only half the tees had mats that is excellent for mid winter, however course was barely playable, fairways were waterlogged, strangely the higher fairways were worse, 10th like a river. Greens very wet, but only two where the puddles made it very difficult. I played with member that said this was a common state of affairs and whilst he was very positive about the course and club in general said that the drainage was a big issue. Only yellow tees available and given the conditions that was a blessing. Played on a sunny and windy day but neither had any impact on the wet. This is a good course/club, but I'll stick to visiting it in the summer.

The first green was in poor condition, but fortunately the rest were in good shape as was the rest of the course. One winter tee on 14th. Member played with very friendly as was staff

Pro shop staff very unhelpful. 1st green closed so had to put on fairway (temporary green). Nice course, but greens are fast and undulating basically giving you no chance of holing anything on your first attempt. Would play again only because its one of those that you know you can play better because you know the greens.

Decent holes with some challenges. Greens are really well kept -- true lines. Facilities we're a little weak -- short driving range, tiny golf shop, warn bar, etc.

having driven past loads of times but not played it, when this came up on tee off times I thought it was time to give it a whirl. Mid November, and very acceptable for the time of year we thought. Friendly pro, didn't use the other facilities due to time. Nice layout off the yellows, some huge landing areas off the tee, greens putted very well indeed. Only real downside is the noise, as soon as you leave the A1 you are on the M1! members must get used to it, and for most of the course you can ignore it. Would go back

Nice course, good greens - and a fun round.
Pity about the course being flanked by the A1 and the M1 - can be quite noisy on a few holes - otherwise enjoyable. Long walk across the road to the 1st a shame.
