Worth a go
Tees and greens are in very good condition, fairways are still patchy and a ball on the fairway does not garantee a good lie(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 84 Handicap: 13.4)

Great municipal
A really lovely, challenging course. I lost a few balls in the thick trees but it was worth it! A really great course, interesting holes to play, a lot of thinking required. Well maintained. Great value for money as well. Quite hilly, so be prepared for a long walk! The clubhouse also has good food and good beer.Reviewer Rating

Great greens
Most dog walkers are good but you do get the odd twit. Fairways still a bit bare but to be expected, good greens. Challenging tree lined course.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 19.6)

Reasonable course far too slow!
Im writing this sitting at the 17th Tee, sitting at Tees is something we’ve done a lot this round! The course itself is pretty nice, fairways and rough a bit tatty but the greens are pretty good. Bunkers are terrible with a 50:50 flint/chalk to sand ratio! It’s a challenging course with many gradient changes and some tricky layouts. The issue is time - 5+ hours for us and we normally expect to finish in around 3 1/2 to 4 on most courses.Staff were professional if not exactly helpful or friendly case of take the money, cards are over there and that was it. And as other reviews mention too many dog walkers with no consideration or concern for golfers

Fun in the sun
Good conditions given the extremes in recent weather. Some bother with walkers on fairways, but not too bad. As with most courses the buggies tender to be booked up for the early rounds.Reviewer Rating

Lovely setting, course fair
Course is positioned in a really nice setting , course tends to always be fair but was slightly better than normal. Greens also in better condition than normal although don’t really do much . Price has been hiked up over the years where it’s on the line of being too expensive for the quality of course , better alternatives(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18.7)
