course in good condition for time of year. 17 greens in play. plenty of work going on.
Will be in great condition as better weather comes in.

Greens and fairways in pretty poor condition. ?20 a round bearing in mind the deals that are on offer for other courses. Will no go to this course again.

Good conditions, very dry, still working on the improvements so a couple of holes are shorter than on the card.
Great value at ?15 and the best bacon bap ever.
Have played several times over the past three years. Can be very wet.

Greens in perfect condition. Little bit of landscaping work going on around back 9 but still enjoyed the round. Would certainly go again and course will be even better when works are finished.

Played 25th Sept 14, The coarse was very poor for the time of the year.The greens didn`t look like they had been mown for quite a while. The restructuring of the coarse has made the whole place look scruffy. Will not be playing there again until the place is finished.

Course in good condition overall despite recent heavy rain. The landscaping work, although ugly in parts at the moment will make this a much more interesting course in the future , and will definitely be worth it. This can be seen on the already developed holes. Score 95 handicap 19

The course wasn't in the best of conditions to b honest the wind didn't help either the greens were ok and the fair ways were in good condition

Played the course 2 weeks ago for the first time in 4 years. Simply amazing the difference. You would not believe it is the same course. The trees have grown and are now over 20ft high. Now one of the best courses in North West and good value for money. Staff were so friendly and so was clubhouse

Decent course. good greens. Hard course in the wind because its against you on all the harder longer holes. Enquired about a membership. £630.00 for 7 days. and no joining fee! My brother and his mate have just joined so i'm going for it too!

A nice course for the average golfer to play and enjoy. Nice wide fairways and not too punishing rough. Good consitant greens and a nice clubhouse.

I really enjoyed this course, it is flat, but it has plenty to offer.
1st tee is a longish par 4 with out of bounds left and right, it looks wide but is quite deceiving, other highlight holes are the 10th, a Long par 3 to start the back nine, easy hole to wreck a card.
My favourite hole was another Par 3, the 15th. With water short of the green you want to be taking an extra club otherwise its a big splash... hopefully a mistake I will only make once.
Seriously considering a membership at this club, good value for money, a well kept course that is very interesting. The staff were pleasant and the clubhouse had decent food and drink for very reasonable prices.

It looks straight forward enough and it can be on a calm day. Once the wind gets up it is a differebt matter with the par 5's playing as 6 and a couple of par 4's playing as 5. Maturing all the time and is well looked after. Recommended
