Great Condition Great Price
Greens are challenging and well maintained.... fairways have not dried out. Pace of play was great and not over crowded so no need to rush your round. Will definitely return(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 96 Handicap: 24.6)

Tricky little course

Great day out
Visited with two others from Wickham Park Golf Club and we were all highly impressed with the service from the very friendly bar staff. The course was in beautiful condition and in wonderful surroundings. Would definitely come back and play it again.Reviewer Rating

Undulating greens
Course in good condition. Played Friday after midday, no one in front whole round. Par threes are good, not all over long. 16th has a great green, must be very tricky if pin is front. I enjoyed the space of the course; made it enjoyable. Handicap 6, score 82.Reviewer Rating

Undulating greens.
Course in very good condition. Not too busy, could get around easily. Good par three's not overly long. 16th Is very good; with very undulating green; would be very difficult with pin at the front.Score 82; handicap 6.

Played it in freezing conditions so it was a bit testy, overall layout keeps you on your toes and you look forward to the next hole, can't wait to play it in the summer. Would recommend.

Enjoyed a Crown Golf Experience day at Merrist Wood. Staff were very welcoming and a special mention to John in the pro shop who dealt with the booking in a very efficient manner. Course was in great condition, well worth a visit.

Great course in great condition
Played 2 rounds in a society last week having never been to Merrist Wood before. The course was in great condition, especially the greens which ran true. The course has some great design elements, lots of strategy is involved if you want a good score here.Will definitely be back again..
....Oh and they provided water and sun cream gratis as it was such a hot day, nice touch!

First visit. Well worth the 120 mile round trip and looking forward to returning. Previous comments have moaned about the water. What water! Just play good course management.

The course was in a great condition considering the amount of rain that fell. The greens were very good. The course is definitely worth playing and good value for money.

A lovely course with well kept greens giving interesting approaches which would test both the low handicapper as well as being playable by those of higher handicap like myself

Played in sunny conditions but due to recent frost the course was damp and muddy. However given the time of year it wasn't bad and the greens were in fantastic condition. Interesting course that uses natural features well, although does play quite short. Recommended

Most golfers have a favourite course and this is mine, I live too far away to be a member, but I will always look forward to playing here. The course is usually in very good condition but more than that its the clever design that I like so much. The intelligent use of water is evident on several holes but nowhere more so than on the 12th. Another hole I love is the 16th: a shortish par 3 played downhill over long rough to an undulating green. There are a few small niggles: e.g. better signposting would be helpful but all in all this is a great course and I'll be back asap. Score 95 Hcap 27.5
