Good value
Played 18 holes course in nice condition, some changes seem to be occurring from last time I played, card didnt match some holes, i.e. 12 which from memory seems to have been shortened.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 20.6)

Value for money
Just back from playing with a group of friends, the course was in excellent condition with superb greens despite the dry weather. The course is parkland so a bit \'up & down\' but with the odd difficult water feature to liven things up.\The staff were friendly and welcoming and the 6 of us will be visiting again it is excellent value for money.Reviewer Rating

1st time I've ever played this course and what a great course it is with up hills ,down hills, the greens are spot on , and a lot of difficulty in the course ,as you look from the tees it makes you think twice which club to use, a great thinking course with great views and the best bit the club house what lovely people greet you all down to earth and you don't feel out of place, and the members are great to, they all talk to you giving you advise and making you all welcome, we have booked again and just a little hint they should rename the 1st Cardiac Hill

I can't see where the previous reviewer got his information from. My pals and I played the course on the 25th April 2017 and we all thought the course was in really good condition. Okay so there is a bit of work going on to change a few things but it certainly did not detract from our enjoyment. The fairways were good. The greens were excellent and the bunkers were ALL raked. Maybe he had been following some hackers! The club Pro was very friendly, polite and helpful as were the staff in the clubhouse. We have played Maywood 4 or 5 times now and have been very happy on every occasion and on a value for money scale would grade you 12 out of 10. We'll be back!!
