Not Great
After a long period of very hot weather the course was not in good condition. The tees didn't seem to have been watered and were pretty bad and although the greens looked good they were very slow and some were bumpy. Nowhere to get a drink afterwards, even in the hotel as they had not returned enough staff from furlough and were't opening the bar till 6 pm!! Hopefully will get better once they get all their staff back.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 20.4)

Not that impressed
This is a very good layout. Plenty of interesting holes and challenges. BUT, it's lacking some TLC. Firstly, it's a resort, so probably gets too much traffic. Second, the greens are awful. Loads of bare patches which make putting a lottery.There isn't really a decent growth on the fairways either, they are very patchy.
The Clubhouse is soulless and service is average. (No orange juice? At a resort?)
Finally, they desperately need a Marshall. The group in front of ours took over 5 hours and at no point did they look likely to let anyone through. I would not recommend a visit here

Decent course, a few interesting holes and in pretty good shape. Nice enough course bar but the hotel is understaffed and can't cope. Not worth staying.

Great Weekend Getaway
This was my 3rd time at this venue and it's a great mini break venue the course was in good condition and we enjoyed good weather.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 87 Handicap: 12)

Great for a weekend get away the hotel was great and the course is challenging and was in reasonable condition given the weather and traffic.

Society Days @Sprowston Manor
Firstly a caveat as iHotels are affected by C19 restrictions however that said I believe Sprowston did a good job looking after 12 golfers over the last two days. The Golf course... well to be honest was a bit scruffy both fairways and greens which was a little disappointing. The layout and difficulty was about right, scenic and at times challenging.The side bar and Pro shop were adequate, although closed at 5 where as hotel did not open bar facilities till 6. It did not affect us but I know a few other parties were a bit miffed.
The booking of the restaurant was at 8, we finished at 10.30.. three courses which were lovely but 150 minutes to eat... so service although very professional was slow.
Rooms were ok, good beds etc, Breakfast was very well organised in the current climate. The hotel staff were polite and professional, the hotel like the course a bit scruffy. I enjoyed our stay but would not go back as a society. That said the whole stay was very good value so you have to weigh this up against the facilities.

Generally the course was in good condition, however, the greens had been spiked and sand filled recently which meant that they were not in the best of condition for putting, therefore it was a bit of a lottery when puting, but it was the same for us all. Generally a good day, and the sausage and bacon rolls before we started were absolutely great.

a nice course greens in gd condition . but beware went to book online which was cheaper but rang course direct instead which i presumed would be same price . but did i get a shock when i got to the course they wanted 35 pounds instead of 17 pound 50p . this wasnt mentioned during initial phone call . not impressed with that at all so book online its cheaper .
