Played the Championship Priory course as part of a society even on a Sunday afternoon. Course was in excellent condition with the greens especially good. The recent wetter weather had made them more receptive, but they were very well kept and ran true. The course was pretty hilly and there's a number of doglegs. This all created a course with variety and interest and a good challenge without being overly difficult. Will definitely be back to play again.

Very difficult terrain in places , variable bounce and slopes to contend with. A few tricky greens too . Very pleasant sat on terrace afterwards for a drink.

Looks open
The course is billed as the easier of the 2 and it certainly looks open though this is misleading as the deep rough is very deep.Reviewer Rating

Played here because of the condition of the Moorland course which drains very well. Buggies available but at a cost of £35 for visitors a bit over the top.
Confusion in pro's shop over cost of a round, thankfully when pointed out Golf Now were charging £5 less for visitors after 12.00pm.

Challenging course
Played last week, happy with 107 playing off a 32 handicap. Only played 9 holes though as the 3 groups I was holding up behind was getting abusive.Reviewer Rating

Cant wait to see it in the sunmer
Theyve made some changes to the course IE new paths, new tee post directions, maps on the tee & the course isnt as boggy as it used to be. In the summer it should be in fantastic shape you cab see its had some investment lately.Reviewer Rating

Good test
Played The Priory course on our first day of a two day stay deal. Weather was wet and windy so course was tricky, despite winter rules being in operation. The greens are big targets so you can easily 3 putt if your not on your game there. Some interesting holes.Reviewer Rating

Well worth a visit
