Nice course, however the tees were not good as many were uneven which made it difficult to find a flat stance. Greens good. Some interesting holes that required a bit of thought. We played on a 2 4 1 so was good value for money. One of them courses you would like to play again as you would have learnt a lot from your first visit.

course in good condition for time of years 18 temp tees no temp greens. Was given food voucher with green fee which we could not redeem

Course has held up well to the weather a little wet in places, on the down side not able to clean trollies use air hose turn off, not able to reclaim food vouchers, some areas to improve

Played today as a visitor. Course had just had it's yearly maintenance and is in superb condition. And for a £16 twilight you can't go wrong!!

Played in July after heavy rain. Course was in exceptionally good condition. Fairways beautiful and greens all immaculate and fast. Tee boxes were a bit shabby but that is the only criticism. Round took 4 1/2 hours which is fine for a weekend. Highly recommended.

Nice course some interesting holes, requires good course management as it's tight. Tee boxes need some work but very good greens

The course is in a great condition, staff are friendly and helpful, could have done with more bar staff as there was a wedding and two societies there yesterday.

We stayed and played here for our Club Weekend away, 12th to 14th September. Good value. although our Captain told us the drinks had been increased even since he and his wife stayed to assess the facility.
Course is quite quirky with quite a few short dogleg par 4's where a driver is a big gamble. Greens were excellent (smaller than we are used to but quick and true). Some awkwardly placed ditches and hedges to go over. Bunkers were well kept. Tees a little untidy in places. Fairways were well defined and a consistent length. Overall I liked the course, and if we don't go there as a Club again, I will try to check out their Senior Open.

The course was in good condition and open considering it was a frosty start. Greens very true and fairways not boggy unlike other courses nearby! Clubhouse is friendly and food excellent

Nice challenging course
Played this course two days on the trot (golf breaks overnighter) having never played here before. As I drove down the drive on the way in I thought ? that looks a bit tight? and so it seemed on the front nine! The course has some nice holes, on an undulating course testing accuracy and overall was pleasant to playSome t boxes left a lot to be desired playing off a selection of differing mats or mud on one particular hole although the newly constructed t box when in use will be nice. Can also recommend the hotel and food and friendly staff

Poor experience
The arrival, course conditions, rude members and staff will make the group l played with not return. Hopefully will improve but whole place needs some investment, and overhaul.Reviewer Rating

Worst golf every experienced
