Nice course

Second visit and have now completed each of the three 9 hole loops. The course for me is very average ; condition is ok, no real stand out holes, nothing wrong with the place, just not overly exciting. Decent value for money & the food/drink/service afterwards in the club house was good.

Play the course today for the first time. Good fairways and the greens were in very good condition. \My only gripe was there is no map of the course on the scorecard. It was good that I played with friends wha had played there before. \In relation to this the signs pointing to the next tee are far too small or not visible enough.

well maintained flat track

The 3 9 hole set up is really well maintained, greens are nice and quick and if you play the Derwent 9, the is a bit of water to keep you entertained!!!! a few gettable par 4's to entice to in, well worth a visit

Wow what thick rough

Tried to lose my 2nd ball on nearly every hole as kept going into the 2nd cut which was sio lush and thick. TReminded me of the grass at East Sussex National that many years back! Knew it wasn't going to be my day again when 1st tee shot with 3 wood went straight left OOB. But some how the 2ball lost was not until the final approach of the last hole. How it lasted 17holes I will never know. Happy not to go back there again unless have my tee shot A game!

Good COurse

Always in good condition. Course is quite up hill for the first 4 holes and then fairly flat. Good.

Straight and narrow

Great course with plenty of walking. Precise aim is key, as passage of play can be deceiving.

Varied mix of holes.

Played for the first time at the end of July. Started on 19 -27 and then played 1-9. Both loops had some nice holes with a variety of water features, some blind shots and dog-legs. Greens were very good and at ?18 it was a bargain.

Pleasant Course

Always enjoy this course. 1st 3 holes are a bit up hill but then you can catch your breath. Some interesting holes on both 9s.
