Great condition in Autumn
Played at the weekend after all the rain on Saturday, surprised that the course was open. When we got there the Pro Shop said that it was wet in places but all the holes were open. We played and to its credit the course and greens were in great condition and not too wet and a good grass covering all over.Reviewer Rating

VISIT TO MALTON & NORTON G.C 17/6/19
ARRIVED IN THE PRO SHOP TO BE GREETED IN FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS MANNER.BOOKING DETAILS WERE SORTED OUT STRAIGHT AWAY, AND PAYMENT TAKEN.
SOME OF THE GUYS WERE LOOKING AROUND THE SHOP, AT VARIOUS ITEMS, AND WERE OFFERED AN IMMEDIATE DISCOUNT. AS THE CLUB HAS THREE 9 HOLES, WE WERE UNSURE AS TO WHERE TO TEE OFF, THE PRO TOOK THE TIME TO GO OUTSIDE WITH ME AND SHOW ME THE 1st AND 9th TEES.
THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT CONDITION, GREENS WERE FAST AND TRUE.
AFTER THE GAME, WE ALL DESCENDED ON THE CLUB HOUSE AND ORDERED DRINKS AND FOOD, WHICH WAS EXCELLENT. I WOULD, AND WILL RECOMMEND THE CLUB TO ANY SOCIETY.

Pleasure to play
As usual the course was in immaculate condition. Played in a Seniors open with two gents from Filey and we all agreed that its always a great venue. Generous bacon roll to start and a great birdie to finish made it a great day.Reviewer Rating

Nice
Pleasant course in good condition and fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Good variety of holes with a couple of challenging par 5s and some short but tight par 4s at the start of the back 9.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 21.3)

wow
we played this course as the first of three days golf and this was by the best, the greens were in excellent condition and the fairways were cut great.a very tight course at times but challenging in lots of ways, the staff were excellent and made all of us welcome, will definitely go back(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 107 Handicap: 23.7)

Excellent condition, good thinking course, fairways well kept.

Really like this course. !-9 are some of the most interesting holes around with trees and plenty of change in elevation. Flattens out on the back 9 but also becomes much tighter.

Played in invitation day, although the weather wasn't great, the course was superb, greens played true and were at a good speed. Course was well defined and all fine turf areas in good condition. Certainly a course I enjoy playing with plenty of challenging holes. Can't wait to play again.

Great course one of the must play in north Yorkshire. With 27 holes 3 starting points, great practice area and driving range. The green keepers maintain this course to the highest standards.

A great course. Played the Derwent and the welham 9. Greens good, but few bunkers. Would of been good to have had a hole map off the tees, as having played this course for the first time we did not always know where the holes were. That would be our only criticism. Highly recommended.

Hi, Straight up, I am a member of this course, but if you cannot blow your own trumpet then what can you do! I would just like to say this 27 hole course is one of Yorkshires 'Hidden Gems'. First the course - you will not or struggle to find a better parkland track in this county or those outside it! The whole environment is immaculately tended with a dedicated team of friendly, hard working Green keepers. The greens are sublime - fast and true, the fairways cut and groomed to perfection and the rough, well the less said the better! But you shouldn't be in it 
The golf pro Micheal is an excellent teacher and will gently put you straight and make the most of what you have got. Then the club house staff & catering is excellent and value for money.

Good mixture of holes. Great views from 3rd and 4th of Malton and towards the moors. A great venue, course in superb condition, great definition, all areas played well and greens very true. Love playing here
