Once again the greens are in poor condition and the course is in need of being tidied up generally.

Visited the course on the 20 June and booked a tee time for late afternoon unfortunately I couldn’t hire a cart as they had to be returned for no later than 6pm . Thought the course layout was fantastic and the staff member working in the pro shop was very friendly . Personally I thought the greens were in a shocking state for a golf course that is ranked in the top 100 in the uk with green fees to match . I think that I should of be told about the poor condition of the greens before I parted with the green fees as I rated them the worst I have played this year and I have played on a lot of courses around Scotland

Great links golf, classic first hole and an eerie moonscape landscape throughout. Really nice design and some tough holes. Well worth getting off the beaten track.

Fabulous course in great surroundings

Bucket list stuff
It's a pain to get to but Machrihanish Golf Club, along with Machrihanish Dunes around the corner, are well worth the trip. True bucket list courses.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 11.6)

Fantastic golfing challenge on a very natural and fair golf course. Hard and fast running, always presents options for how to play shots - along the ground or in the air. True but complex and hard to read greens, Beautiful coastal location completes a great course.
