Great round playing in the Captains Day medal. The course is looking in fantastic condition. Tricky pin positions with the greens been in excellent condition and very fast.

Played with friends as I am looking to join the club. Aside from the hilly nature, which wasnt a suprise as I live 5 minutes from the club, the course is a nice layout and relatively short which suits my game as I am not a big driver of the ball and only just starting.
Club pro was very helpful and while the club wasnt open as we finished Sunday before 11am, we had a great time.

The most scenic golf course I've played in Cheshire, some of the best greens in such terrible weather conditions. Very unique cours full of character, holes 11-14 rather easy but the round is worth it just for the views from the 7th tee.

My home club. In really great condition. The rough is much thicker than over previous years. Play straight or you are in trouble!

Surprisingly Hilly
Great course which was quite hilly and enjoys fabulous views over the Cheshire plain. A couple of blind Tee shots so you need to think about where you're aiming. Great greens and we were ready for a drink by the end.Reviewer Rating

Played on a very hot day. Due to the recent drought conditions the fairways were understandably very dry, orange and fast (but then so was Carnoustie last week!). These fairways were slopey too which made it almost impossible to keep on them off the tee (for someone of my standard at least). This is in no way a criticism though (I'm just giving an accurate description of the conditions today). The greens however were excellent (challenging, fast and true). Best greens I've had the pleasure of playing on.
The downside to the round was that we booked an 8:30am tee-off time but at 8:20am the pro-shop was not open so we didn't have a scorecard. No biggy though as I screen-shotted one off tinterweb.
Brilliant course and would definitely recommend. Look forward to playing again in the autumn when the course has soaked up a bit more moisture.
