Poor greens
Overall course in good condition, greens a big let down. If I were a member I would need answers to why they are so bad.Reviewer Rating

Joys of winter golf
The course is in a bad way with having to play off mats on fairways. Think it's fair to say they've cut the grass too short so it's bare and muddy on the fairways. Have to say though the greens were lightning fast and the winter tee off areas were spacious rather than the usual soap boxes you have to tee off at most courses. A very nice course to play in summer but not so much winterReviewer Rating

Peaceful setting worth visiting
Easy to find and not far from LeedsStaff polite and helpful on first arriving
Course in good condition and presented well
Some fairways hard to keep your ball on as they slope but the greens where great to play on and tested your putting skills

The ground was soft going due to rain and some of the greens showed a bit of wear & tear, but all in all we enjoyed the round.
All 3 of us agreed we would certainly play there again in the future and look forward to play there maybe next May -June

Nice course just outside Wakefield centre
Nicely maintained course. Greens, tee offs, bunkers, fairways v good standard. Clubhouse is quaint and nice place to relax in after a round. A few holes do slope quite severely left to right due to lay of land, and a couple of holes cross over I.e teeing off over a green which can occasionally slow play down if busy.Reviewer Rating
