Very windy day and the contours of the course took the ball off the fairways far too often. The course has suffered with the heat wave many bare patches around. The tees were very poor and need reseeding. It will be some time before we come back again. The buggy was old with suspect brakes which I reported back to the pro.

Poor greens

Overall course in good condition, greens a big let down. If I were a member I would need answers to why they are so bad.

Joys of winter golf

The course is in a bad way with having to play off mats on fairways. Think it's fair to say they've cut the grass too short so it's bare and muddy on the fairways. Have to say though the greens were lightning fast and the winter tee off areas were spacious rather than the usual soap boxes you have to tee off at most courses. A very nice course to play in summer but not so much winter

Played on a very wet and windy day but still enjoyable. Course in fairly good condition but some standing water. Clubhouse and food good. Staff could have been a little bit friendlier.

Peaceful setting worth visiting

Easy to find and not far from Leeds
Staff polite and helpful on first arriving
Course in good condition and presented well
Some fairways hard to keep your ball on as they slope but the greens where great to play on and tested your putting skills

The course is a very nice and well kept course. Some holes are very hard to play driver is not always the way to go. Need to be able to keep it striaght on a couple of holes. Over all great course to play will be going back.

Played here for the first time in about 10 years. As l recalled it is quite a testing course with it's left to right sloping fairways.
The ground was soft going due to rain and some of the greens showed a bit of wear & tear, but all in all we enjoyed the round.
All 3 of us agreed we would certainly play there again in the future and look forward to play there maybe next May -June

Picked a very busy day , but they coped with the increased number of players. All greens are a test on slopes with curves, you need to bring your best putter.

Good food and drink.

Nice course just outside Wakefield centre

Nicely maintained course. Greens, tee offs, bunkers, fairways v good standard. Clubhouse is quaint and nice place to relax in after a round. A few holes do slope quite severely left to right due to lay of land, and a couple of holes cross over I.e teeing off over a green which can occasionally slow play down if busy.
