Great course

Perfect

Today I played the lakes course at Longhirst. Now considering the club like many others has had to continue maintenance through Covid and combat the unusual long periods of dry weather, the course was immaculate and in superb condition. The fairways were lush and green and the greens were quick and true. I highly recommend this golf course to anyone looking for a round, it’s excellent value and a real hidden gem

Exceptional
Wow. Exceptional course in absolutely top condition. Fairways well kept and greens like a snooker table. Will be back to try the Dawson. We'll worth the 2 plus hours trip from Scotland.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 14.6)

Visited Longhirst today, both courses seemed to be busy. We played the Dawson and I can easily say it was the best conditioned course I have played in a long time, greens were true, receptive and a perfect pace. If I lived closer I’d join in a heartbeat

Fantastic courses.
Played the Lakes Course today. A testing and narrow course. Take plenty of balls as the course name is a bit of a give away for the amount of water around it. Narrow fairways and small greens are a serious test on the front 9 but opens up slightly on the back 9. Beautifully kept and the greens are immaculate, all set in the idilic Northumberland countryside. Will certainly be back, many times.Reviewer Rating

Take plenty balls

Lovely and Uncrowded
Have played here a few times as local to us, able to book on the day and be there in 20mins. The greens are very fast and the grass green and luscious. Played the Lakes this time and the added joy is always the wildlife. A little wet underfoot and some flooding though we have had some heavy rain.Reviewer Rating
