I was a member years ago when Mark Lang managed the course and pro shop excellent. There is no longer a pro shop, and the course is not in the condition it was. This course has massive potential but the new management don't seem bothered, perhaps the cabins are there money maker.

Challenging course. Good value for money. Helpful pro. Some of the 'regulars' can be a bit unfriendly, but would visit again.

Played here on a fine day in April, it's a tough course to walk and carry (which we normally do), plenty of staff out working on the course, fairways and greens all in decent shape, greens true but a little slow when we played. Some great views from around the course. However, I feel that overall the course has been squeezed into the landscape in places, it doesn't flow particularly well at times. However, for a cheap weekday round booking online (a tender per person), its good value and a better challenge than the municipals.

Played Little Lakes on 01/07/2012, excellent condition, some blind holes, which are very testing. Greens were very good and fairways in great condition. Very friendly welcome, Pro Mark excellent. Not a bad hole on the course, very enjoyable and as good if not better than Wharton Park. Definitely worth a visit, food and beer in bar great. One last note, for those less mobile, would suggest a buggy.

Course in good condition for this time of year, however, the greens were very poor. Looks as thought there has been some sort of disease and most greens are full of small holes which affect putting. Such a shame.

One of the most fun courses to play in the West Midlands. Love the elevation changes with elevated tees and greens. The sloping fairways don't always offer a fair bounce so placement off the tee is often key. Course was looking healthier and better cared for than last time I played. One of the best value rounds of golf you will find at only £15 and some of the best exercise you will ever get walking all the hills.

Poor condition

We play this course as a society every year and always enjoy the challenge, however this year the greens, tee boxes and bunkers were in such poor condition we are really considering scrubbing this course from our society calendar going forward.

1) greens - mostly dirt, full of bobbles, tram lines causing uneven bumps. Severely need watering/reseeding. No chance getting ball to stop. The whole society agreed that the greens were unplayable.

2) tee boxes. Need watering. They were rock solid and a lot it was difficult to get your tees in the ground

3) bunkers. Really low on sand. Most were like concrete and again largely unplayable.

Really disappointing considering we play this course every year.

A beautiful course nestled into the Bewdley countryside.
It is a testing course (physically and ability), with many blind holes, dog legs and holes with character.
If you are in a group where none of you have played the core before, it might be tough to know best areas to land the ball. Thankfully my playing partner helped me out the whole way round. Im keen to get back and play again, because it really is a fantastic course.
If you aren't long off the tee, don't panic as this course really doesn't invite you to boom big tee shots.
Many fairways slope (if not all of them), so the ball below or above your feet is commonplace (something i struggle with being a high handicapper), so i didnt score too well.
A must for any golfer.

Greens in very poor condition worst I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve seen playing golf for 20 plus years. Big patches of disease. Bunkers need sand to become a hazard. Fairways cut too short. In general little lakes is the worst I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve ever seen it. Very disappointed.

Small testing greens made it difficult to stop your approach shots on the putting surface. Once on the greens the surfaces were excellent and true with good pace. an excellent course well worth a visit and will be going back for sure

If you play it for the first time it can be tricky to negotiate. The course is quite hilly and some of the holes are blind. for example the 2nd hole par 5.100 yds from the green and you can't see it. The course is well maintained. Nice slick greens. Interesting course, well worth a visit. Take plenty of balls,
