Fantastic course for a medium and high handicapper. Nice layout and views, seemed well looked after. Greens and bunkers both had been re-done recently. Speaking to others it was much needed so glad i played when I did as it was a decent round. It was the cheapest round i have played so far this year so great value for money!

Good course, best value in the area.
Herts is populated with a load of very nice but very expensive courses with very restricted playing times available to non members. Little Hay is open to all and has a good mix of long, short and challenging holes. The greens aren't as well maintained as some private courses but I've definitely played on worse. There is a decent sized practise green and a driving range open til late. There is no pro shop but tees, gloves and balls are available at reception. Great value especially if you can play on their twighlight rate.Reviewer Rating

Little Hay is a pay and play course at Bovingdon Herts. I have found it well kept with friendly staff and excellent restaurant and club house. The course is fairly forgiving with some testing holes and the course gets more difficult during the summer as the rough gets longer.
I play regularly there with a group ranging from14 to 28 handicap and we all enjoy the course.
