Great "old fashioned" golf course laid out over heath land. Heather everywhere and the greens were being maintained when we played. Club has an honesty box for payments when the office is closed.

On arrival, we received a warm welcome in the quainly old fashioned club house where you put your green fee in an envelope and hand it to the steward or secretary. This is a 2 x 9 hole layout (with two sets of tees) and not the longest course. It is laid out on common land and straddles the A25 near Oxted. Unfortunately, due to wet conditions there were 3 temorary greens in play, which was a shame. An attractive course, which is fairly flat I enjoyed the 2nd, 6th, 7th and 9th. Not much rough, but most holes are tree-lined. Oh, and if you make a par at the 5th (a 229 yard par 3) you'll have done well. Not one for the big hitters, fans of American style layouts, or those who like whizzing around in buggies. If you prefer the tradition of the game this might be one for you.
