Let's be honest!
Firstly, the overriding feeling you get as you walk around the facilities is one of a profit oriented feeling. Almost as if loyal golf members have dropped lower down the pecking order, behind a family of 4 that want to play "mini-golf" and have a meal. This leads into my next point/observation. If you want turn up as a golfer, to practice or play you are cast aside to pave the way for a more fashionable clientele. From my own personal experience you cannot use the great driving range on the weekend between 11am-16:00pm because the "mini-golf" is open and of health and safety concerns! Which screams poor planning of where its located and poor construction!
This club used to be somewhere people wanted to play, now its a place that drives members out and looks only to strengthen its bank balance.

Enjoyable but slow
Good compact course with excellent facilities. Very slow competition play in front of us that needed to be managed better. One temp tee which on the website said they would never need. Greens quick, bunkers okraReviewer Rating

Reasonable Pay and Play Course
Reasonable Pay and Play Course, Bunkers are very Poor and and the course in general could be manicured better, but this probably down to poor management, the Restaurant was a Gem when it first opened, but the standard of food has dropped-off.Reviewer Rating

i would say that the bunkers need to a bit better as do have a number of stones in them (not good for the wedges) and the greens could do with being cut shorter.
very enjoyable, will play again and may even join...
i would also say that despite the location the road and train noise is minimal and really wasn't something you overly notice. the walk between holes can be long so get a buggy or trolly if you struggle slightly.

The facilities for food and drink are not great but a huge rebuilding is taking place and will improve things significantly.

Needs to be better
I am hoping the course will improve. It has been a hard winter and so wet . I am a member and I will not renew my membership if things do not improve. The fairways are like rough with buttercups and dandelions in them . Greens are not bad but IMO better a month ago ..Reviewer Rating
