As stated it needs rain
Played yesterday and the course is running so fast . Balls going more than 50 yards further than normal . Thus have to allow for that . Greens are running slow as they have been allowed to grow for protection . Bunkers are poor . Played at twilight and around in 3 hours and price very good . Long walks between tees . Think this would be a good winter course if it drains well as not too long and has some interesting looking holes .Reviewer Rating

Scorching Hot - Difficult Course
On a baking hot day and a brown fairway, lush greens some say real links golf...Enjoyable round but so hot.
Bunkers overall were pretty poor and tee conditions could be improved, however as a set out golf course pretty good, if a tad expensive at £30 for a weekend. I expect slightly better quality of golf course and on course facilities would have been very helpful due to the conditions

Course holding up well for winter
Course in fairly good condition fairways really playable & rough is fair. Same old issue with the bunkers though either flooded or bare with any sand being more like an aggregate base for cement not the nice soft stuff. Other than the sand though course is really looking good & with today's high winds very tricky on some holes.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 15.7)

Unsurprisingly course a bit muddy due to weather / time of year. Good value at £10 for 9 holes after 1:30pm. No one on course and managed to get full 18 in :-)

Quite a difficult course and the owners have put a lot of effort into improving it. The bunkers need more sand.

Course in good condition nice and green considering how dry its been. Bunkers really need to be sieved for stones though.

Course very boggy quite a lot of standing water. Buggies out really churning up the course. Greens in good condition though considering conditions.

Second time here but spoiled by having to use 14 temporary greens because all 18 had been cored,hollow tined, sanded and seeded just prior to our tee off. We were not advised by the desk and no partial refund of green fees was forthcoming. As it turned out the groundstaff were sweeping and reinstating the greens as we completed our round. Apart from this it is an enjoyable course.
