Can't believe the state it has gotten itself back into, the greens are Not true and have more bare patches than I've seen on any course before, the members that I spoke to agreed it had slipped back into old ways. I had a walk round before booking a tee time and glad I did as u saved myself some money. Compared to the progress last year, it is a shame they didn't stick to it. Called into the bar where I was met by a bartender who was rude and his language was atrocious especially with women in the room.

Excellent shop friendly and helpful staff. Course in poor condition on temps and mats. Talking to members best time to visit is around there invitation day in June two weeks ether side it is the only time its is worth a visit. Genrally lots better value courses in the area and kept better all year round give it a miss food was cold and slightly overpriced.

Greens were in really poor condition, not true with left over feed, but the variation of holes is good from about the 5th, but first few holes feel like a council course.

Decent course. A little confusing and some ridiculous blind shots if never played. Would be better towards closer to the summer. Groundsmen were very loud and very annoying and off putting.

At £20 on a Sunday morning with few golfers following you, this represents excellent value. That said the course after a few days of inclement weather after a hot summer was already looking a tad shabby and I would not want to visit in Winter. Thought the greens were slow, the grass needed a trim and worm casts were showing. Would play again but next Summer.

Excellent but hilly cousre course, not for the htose who are unfit. Gets boggy in certain areas when very wet conditions. Clubhouse has just been renovated and is excellent

Not a bad course to play in winter, only 2 temp greens and wasn't too wet. Some very interesting holes. I would play this course again.

being on the side of a hill looking over sheffield, it remains real wet in the low parts of the coarse. there for some temp greens are still in play. but that said all the greens looked to be in good nick and the ones in play were fairly quick. with it being winter and a monday 18 holes was priced at £10, which is good value even with the temps. I will be back in the summer.

Beautiful course, I love it.
Great to be back even if for one round enjoyed being a member last year only sorry to have missed so much of it with Covid and my knee playing up. If could have got a deal again like last year might have considered joining again but a little steep considering we don't know where we are yet with Covid and they don't give you any discounts for time lost !(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 93 Handicap: 23.1)

Great Course

Great charity day, pity about greens
We played as part of the Tony Currie Golf Day and found the club and facilities to be spot on. The whole day was brilliant on a lovely course, just spoilt slightly by hollow tining on the greens which meant putts went wayward, which is a problem in a competition. Other than that, I will certainly be back to try and green the tee off on hole 1 !!Reviewer Rating

Greens fast but keeps line if you went wayward rough not long so not taking long to find ball so no slow play fairways and second cut very good
