Don't bother
This course is bad. No covid guide lines in place. Greens are very poor,the worst i have ever played on.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 21.5)

The term slow play doesn't come close. One hour for three holes. We gave up and got a full and apologetic refund but this was a very disappointing way to spend a Sunday. The 10x10 water features on the first and second greens were also an unexpected hazard. There had been a lot of rain so perhaps this isn't a fair reflection of the normal conditions. This could be a decent little course if the organisation was better. I will not be going back unless I get the urge to play a nine hour round.

Called up on a Saturday to book a 10:45 tee time for the Sunday. Arrived to discover 16 4 balls playing in front of us. It took 1 hour to play three holes. At the fourth there was a 15 minute wait to tee off with 5 party's on the same hole. We stopped shortly after this, went to the 'clubhouse' and got full refund but unfortunately he couldn't refund us our time. Shall not be going back.

Lee valley golf course in the winter/spring
Played this course quite a few times but on this occasion fairways had not been cut short on quite a few holes so it was like playing out of the rough , hopefully once the weather dries up a bit more they will attend to the fairways and greens but all in all I enjoy playing there good prices aswellReviewer Rating

Not a bad course but plaued better
Not a bad course but needs some tlc. Greens need some looking after. Looks like the winter has taken it's tole on them . Could do with temporarily grrens in winter(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 30.8)

First 9 holes were poor but back nine are much better . Some of the greens need some attention. This is a much better course in the summer but is good value for money

Fairways have divot holes and small twigs and branches from recent high winds.
Greens need cutting and pitch marks need repairing.

Lee Valley
A nice enough public course in North London, in reasonable condition. Not that long but fairly narrow/tight so not easy. Some really simple basic improvements would help, for example number the tee boxes as navigating the course is not always obvious. Shadow of its former self as foot golf share course now but still have to keep your ball straight slice or hooks can easily cost you balls in Lake or River Lea
