Urban gem
Great little course hidden away in an industrial estate. Greens in great condition and fairways not bad for the time of year. Some holes have a real links feel. A lot of the holes are quite tight and require precision play, especially on the front 9. Longer hitters might want to leave their driver in the bag.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 22.2)

Remains the best value for money around. A real hidden gem! Course in excellent condition and uncrowded even at the height of summer.

I can't believe more people don't play this urban gem. A gorgeous Friday afternoon in August and there was hardly anyone on the course. OK, the fairways need a cut, but the layout and the greens are superb. You won't find a better course for the money anywhere. Great fun!

this course is always in top condition with very friendly staff. bad news is that the council are planning to close the course to build on the land which I think is very sad news there is a petition at the course for people to sign . we have to try and keep this course open .

I play here all the time and agree with all the previous reviews.The greens are some of the best I have played (including championship courses like Gleneagles) and it really does make you focus on the accuracy of your game

One of the most challenging courses I've played for a while, I love how narrow the fairways are at Lee Valley, your driving needs to be spot on to get a good round in. The course is kept to an exceptional standard.Reviewer Rating

Excellent value
Ok, so this is not 5* but for the money, it can hardly be bettered. Some of the tee boxes and greens are in need of attention (overlooking rubbish strewn on the margins of some of the fairways) but for a beginner / intermediate, this course is a gem. Members are very welcoming.Reviewer Rating

At least it was open!
After finding the course we were scheduled on to be closed & ringing round another 7th, this was open! We were so pleased that very happy to overlook some facets normally associated with down grading. Indeed every tee was open & every green no a temporary.
