Lovely Langdon
Nice courses. Nice people with good food and drink too.Course Bulphan -Horndon is a tough first nine followed by
a somewhat easier back nine. Bulphan is the toughest of their 3 nines.
Horndon the easiest. Very enjoyable round. Great brekky and nice
Coffee after.

Excellent Condition
the course was in fantastic condition. Greens were very fast.Excellent pace of play. Staff are very friendly.

Great course
Great course in very good condition. Very windy conditions making it tough.Bar staff and reception staff very friendly and welcoming.
£35 a bit steep in the week.

Unforgiving course
Well looked after and in excellent condition, tee boxes flat, tight fairways lined with heavy ruff (go into you lucky to find), fast greens. Nice club house with friendly helpful stallReviewer Rating

The greens on Langdon and Bulphan are absolutely disgraceful. The course management have decided to core all 18 holes at once and use the lack of rain for the greens? condition. Temporary green was installed on the 13th in a fairway without even cutting the grass around it. No notice from the clubhouse on the condition of the course.

Winter golf
The course was in pretty good nick a bit boggy here and there which justified the carry only.Not a great lover of the Horndon as it's a bit featureless.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 88 Handicap: 20)

Lovely Club and Course - Shame about the Weather
Played the Langdon and Bulphan courses, really nicely laid out. The storms that hit Essex had left the course in places a bit sodden and it was a pleasant surprise to have trolleys but it was a relief. Today the wind was at least 20mph so very challenging. The overall feel for the courses from the 6 guys playing was it was challenging but acheivable, despite the elements. We came on a £27.50 midweek deal with a breakfast which was fatastic and the staff were great thank you LHGC.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 97 Handicap: 19.2)
