Pidley
Very expensive for a saturday, course not in good condition, greens were awful for the time of year. Could not get food after due to a wedding. WILL NOT RETURN.Reviewer Rating

Poor condition
The greens were covered in bobbles and patches of sand that you can't putt through. Around the greens is in disrepair, big patches of ground with no grass dug up. The fairways have massive cracks in so the ball was just bouncing off at right angles. The condition of the course probably directly cost me 5 or 6 shots over the round.Reviewer Rating

Course in very poor condition, and can't all be blamed on the dry conditions. Greens were very patchy and around the greens were just mud and dirt plies.

We paid £20 for a twilight round. Parts of the course were unplayable, the greens were not very good. I know its been very wet lately and it was good the course was open, but I think the price should have reflected the course conditions a bit better. We will return in the summer.

Poor course maintenance
As others have found, the condition of the greens and bunkers lets down the course severely. The accommodation, food and staff were all excellent but as we attended a golf society weekend and played the course three times, the course was the important factor. Would not return.Reviewer Rating

Decent layout let down by tined greens
Lovely day, nice course. Horrendously slow play on the course ahead. Tined greens were awful to putt on. In some cases half the green was timed and the other wasn't. Also green staff trying to cut the green whilst you were putting!Reviewer Rating

Nice Layout
The general condition of the course isnt amazing. Needs a bit of TLC in my opinion, however this place has bags of potential.They layout is great with some lovely holes.
Ideal for new and improving players as the course is fairly forgiving.
