A thinking mans course
A course where you simply can't pull the driver out of the bag on every par 4 and 5. Clever brook and streams make you have to think about how you will play each hole. The greens had just been maintained which made them a bit slow coupled with the heavy downpour it made putting hard work. I imagine they are tough greens after a dry spell. The clubhouse was lovely although I did not use them to their fullest. The other players were welcoming and friendly.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 19.1)

Great Course
Played as a Guest in the Ladbrook Park Golf Club Team Am-Am event on the 29/06/19Great course, beautifully presented in a lovely Warwickshire countryside location near to Tanworth-in-Arden.
Course layout is excellent and the Greens were immaculate and fast (10-11 on the stimpmeter)

A beauty friendly and traditional golfing venue which met my society's needs. The course was well maintained and green were very nice to play on true and testing. The 17th hole was either a birdie chance or a bogey. A course where if you course manage and not take needless risks you will get rewards. There were trees, a ditch which affected 11 holes and bunkers which will test all golfers. Read the Pro tips on this course before you play they will help you. The signature hole for me was the 15th a long par 3 hole which had bunkers guarding it.

Played Ladbrook with friends recently on what was a lovely sunny day. I have to say I was really disappointed in the condition of the greens, proving very soft and bumpy, managed to score reasonably considering

I was lucky enough to play this fantastic course on 5th May 2013. After so much rain & snow in the early part of the year the course was in great condition with positive signs of only getting better as the weather improves.
A great course layout with some demanding picturesque holes requiring good iron work to reach some cleverly sloping greens. Green speed and slopes can leave you with some demanding putts not for the feint hearted, but everything plays fair.
From the tee to the green everything was luscious green and bunkers stone free. Recent development work over the winter shows the course management have plans for improvement with projects looking to be well managed & ready to use at the start of the season.
A well stocked Halfway House offers a friendly drink, snack or bacon sandwich etc., and the club house offers one of the best views to sit and enjoy a drink on the patio in good company.
All of the holes at Ladbrook require some thought and planning, for me the most memorable holes include the 4th "The Wood", with the green tucked behind a sentry looking oak and the 17th "The Oaks" with a magnificent approach to a raised green between 2 oak trees.
If you're looking for a a golfing treat in the midlands, Hereford & Worcester, Warwickshire area make sure you treat yourself to a visit to Ladbrook Park Golf Club.

Superb

Friendly pro shop. Lovely food an drink. Course was in very good condition, fairways were fairways and the greens were fantastic. Some great holes and you really had to think about your shots with a stream meandering through the course and narrow fairways.Would love to play again, and hopefully get a better score.
