Very good game on a much improved course after they had some problems before with burned greens. The course has been changed and completely improved. Will play again

After hearing about the 'improvements' and playing this course twice in recent weeks I have to agree with the comments regarding the inconsistent greens. They are definitely thumpers greens. It is understandable though, if they've had to re-lay them as stated it may take a very long time for them to properly settle. Overall, I found the course just a little 'rough around the edges' with some room for improvement in the manicuring department.

Very good course with excellent greens. Very quite despite close to two main roads.
Par 3's all different challenges and a pleasure to play.

Never played the course but had read some good things about it so I was pretty excited. Considering how good the weather had been I expected the course to be in good nick. For the most part it was. Majority of the fairways were nice and tight and the tee boxes were superb. However, what spoiled a really good days golf were the greens. There was no consistency at all. Some of the fairways were actually as fast, if not faster than some of the greens. Real shame, as if it were consistent it would be a top course. 2-4-1 on Mondays is a real bonus, £11 each a round for this course is a steal.

Great course and clubhouse will be returning in the spring when all the bunker work has been completed. Excellent value for money only £11 on a Monday.

Some great changes being made to the bunkers and the course lay out.The new 18th hole is a fantastic finishing hole, had a very enjoyable day friendly club-house staff. We are looking forward to playing again in the summer.Would recommend the fish&Chips for any one on the winter warmer which we thought was really good value.

I normally play this course a few times a year but haven’t been for a while. What a big improvement.
The greens were damaged last year, but the owners have replaced 9 of the greens with new ones and repaired the other 9.
They are in really good shape, the bunkers are all being reshaped or replaced too as the bunkers were always an issue. I was told these will be back in place sometime in March.
Clubhouse facilities are 1st class and do they a mean breakfast.
I am looking forward to a return visit in the Spring.

Poor course, NO greens, waste of money. Clubhouse feel unwanted as a golfer more interested in non golfers.

Played in a society day on 9/6/13 very sad that ALL the greens had been vandalized and unplayable, yet we where not told before hand and had to play on winter greens

Beautiful course layout with 5 par 5's and a couple of lovely par 3's. Not that many bunkers but those there are are very well placed. The water shouldn't really come into play apart from a couple of times where it encroaches on the fareway. In short an extremely well pressented course that's both very enjoyable for the highs and a challenge for the mids, lows should rip it up though!

The course is is superb condition. the greens are fast but consistant.
