A challenging course, has wintered well, the greens were fast and fairways well maintained my only gripe was the bunkers' varying amounts of sand, but then the object is to stay out of them!!

Played a golf socirty day with 27 holes and was very impressed with the course, the food and the very friendly staff. Course was in very nice condition and whilst greens weren't the quickest, they were very true and consistent which is everything! The only minor criticism was the bunkers that were a little heavy but we had had a few days of rain prior to the event. Excellent test of ability and fitness as there are a few steep hills to overcome but this only adds to the challenge. The ecology & wildilfe was very evident with deer all around the course and very established fauna. We had lunch and dinner at the clubhouse and the food was excellent traditional fayre and the staff in both pro shop and clubhouse were very friendly and attentive. Having played most courses in the area, I struggle to think of a better overall experience than Knowle and will be returning soon!

Not the longest of courses but a good test all the same, greens are fast and true, fairways tree lined for the most part meaning accuracy not length is a must. I thought £20 for a mid week afternoon round with a member was a bit expensive but enjoyed it nevertheless.

Very good course, well established. Quite a climb in places, very hilly, friendly members and ground staff. Only down side was lack of hot food after the round, apparently no electricity in kitchen and only baps available!

Beautiful course in the middle of Bristol, which you would not expect. Quite hilly, but the greens are very very good.
