Knotty hill CF Comp
Very dry with a lot of yellow patches. Great greens that run really well. Green keepers were thoughtful when cutting and rolling.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 45.8)

green in excellent condition despite rest of the course being very dry due to weeks of hot sun. Busy day due to comp and very slow at times

Knotty Hill on a Sunday afternoon

Dukes course
Played course E (Dukes), 9 holes. Undemanding. Couple of blind shots. Several raised greens, but few bunkers. Not a long course. This looks very much what it is, a course created out of farmland. The greens are extremely poor, grass too long and bobbly. My neighbour's lawn is better kept. The fringes were rather threadbare. No signage on the tees, and no indication of hole topology. Gets better week by week.

Good day for golf, course condition good but a little clover in places. Must keep out of the rough as it does not get cut and eats balls.
Some greens could be made a little more challenging, but still good value for money.

great course, good greens, good scenery, very quiet on sunday evening. Weather was great, greens were nice. fairways are nice and quite wide, some bad rough to avoid but some that is manageable too.

Very dry conditions, course is a lacking in the way of signage, bins around tees etc. Some greens are very small, But a good round was had by all, will try the other course next time around.
