Good course. Decent condition. Not the best, but not the worst.

Worth a vist
In perfect condition as always, greens run really true and fairways are in good nick. The bunkers are abit stoney and could do with some sand but not a real problem. A good course with very forgiving fairways, worth a vist. Driving range mats needs replacing but if nice can move out on to the grassReviewer Rating

Greens were very green but grass probably longer than usual due to heavy rain in preceding days.

Kirtlington is a gem of a golf centre and 18 hole course
Society day at Kirtlington and not having played here before, was looking forward to trying a new course. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Kirtlington is great test, with some challenging holes. It is very much a links style course with undulating fairways, but some on the edges of the course are tree-lined, out of bounds. Good variety of par 4's with some very long over 400 yards and some shorter, but difficult due to doglegs and strategically placed hazards, bunkers, water, etc. The course was presented in excellent condition, with teeboxes, fairways and greens all well maintained. The course off the yellow tees, is just under 600 yards, but a good test nonetheless. The course has 2 major defences, one being the long wispy straw like rough, that punishes anything slightly off the fairway, but the main defence is the greens. They have a lot of slopes, so you will need you top putting game. A great venue, with a large clubhouse, decent putting green, a small driving range area and there is also a 9 hole course on the grounds. I recommend a visit. It was worth the drive to get there.Reviewer Rating

Great Course and brilliant staff
28 members of our Golf Society had the pleasure of visiting Kirtlington Golf Club on Saturday (15th May) and, despite the dark skies and a couple of heavy showers to start our round off, we all had an excellent day.Throughout the day, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our morning coffee and bacon batches were excellent and on-time as was the gentleman who started each group at the first.
The course itself was in good condition. It is nice and open so suitable for the less gifted golfer and, whilst it isnt the longest of courses, 3 of the 4 Par 3's should prove a challenge to all players.
We would happily return to Kirtlington for another golf day in the coming seasons - and the only thing we would change would be the weather . . Nice blue skies much more preferable.

Nice layout but very poor greens for Winter series 1 October 2020
I'll start with the bad not worth £30 for the winter series, having travelled 70 minutes to play very disappointed with the condition and speed of the greens. they just looked average and filled me with zero confidence every putt bounced, jumped and looked ugly. The good: nice clubhouse, super friendly shop team and nice range and short game area. tee's in excellent shape and fairways also tbh with just a few wet areas on the back nine. love the inland links feel with no many trees, thinking about the wind was also a nice bonus. nice course planner/map for first timers another nice touch.
If it was £20 I'd play all of them but sadly £30 is over priced with no food or drinks to sweeten the deal. when you play Brampton Heath @ £25 and you get breakfast and quality greens all through the winter !!!!!!!!! shame as they fit nicely in the calendar.

Played as part of a society was suprised how well things were organised on a busy weekend,Course was busy but little in the way of hold ups on the course,Nothing to much trouble for tge sraff in Pro Shop and Bar , made to feel welcome by course ranger delivering drinks and checking everyone was enjoying their day,Course very challenging with unforgiving rough and fast but true greens,In these times must say well done to the club and all its staff for the organisation on and off the course and their hospitalityReviewer Rating
