The price of this course and the quality of it just do not equate. Don't get me wrong it's a nice course to play but what worries me is that I always seem to score well here and that tells me it's a bit too easy. In the summer too many parts of the course are covered with very long grass which does not provide a test a other times of the year. Replace the long grass with trees and this would be a big improvement.

Mr golf
Tee times are every 7 minutes,so course is far too busy.First hole is a par 5, no way on earth can a 4 ball finish a par 5 in 7 minutes, so have to wait on every hole,ridiculous! ?46 for a long wait on every hole.
Very tiny clubhouse,too busy

Short course good greens
Course is short 6 par 3s and 3 (short) par 4s. Greens are quite fast and slope. Can get round in an hour so good for an pre work or evening round.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 41 Handicap: )

Nice layout but very poor greens for Winter series 1 October 2020
I'll start with the bad not worth £30 for the winter series, having travelled 70 minutes to play very disappointed with the condition and speed of the greens. they just looked average and filled me with zero confidence every putt bounced, jumped and looked ugly.The good: nice clubhouse, super friendly shop team and nice range and short game area. tee's in excellent shape and fairways also tbh with just a few wet areas on the back nine. love the inland links feel with no many trees, thinking about the wind was also a nice bonus. nice course planner/map for first timers another nice touch.
If it was £20 I'd play all of them but sadly £30 is over priced with no food or drinks to sweeten the deal. when you play Brampton Heath @ £25 and you get breakfast and quality greens all through the winter !!!!!!!!! shame as they fit nicely in the calendar.

SP had a blinder. Almost scored under 100 before he fucked it on the last.

Test yourself on these Greens
The course was in good condition. I have played here about 4 times first time I have stopped and realised how challenging the shapes on all the greens really are! Might of been the reason why I putted so atrociously to far from the pin with approach. Well worth a visit if you want a challenge on the greens.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 100 Handicap: 17.5)

Course played well for the time of year. The greens are not the best in comparison to somewhere like Southfield or Studley but who can grumble as this was a jack FM voucher. Round and a pint for £16

Came here for a charity golf day and had an enjoyable day. A quirky course that playing for the first time caught us out on a couple of holes especially the 14th, all took drivers, all 4 OOB rather annoyingly.
A couple of other holes looked similar so it was safe 5 irons all round so you would need a round or 2 to be happy with the layout.
The greens were undulating but in a relatively good condition, they were well protected by a multitude of well filled and strategically placed bunkers. It was a nice layout, more character than a great deal of courses.
All in all, it was an enjoyable track, not too challenging, friendly staff and begging for a low score once familiar with the layout.
H/cap = 3.6 Round = +6

Rough was far to long it was 2 feet high in areas and lots of lost balls and slow play whilst looking. Need cutting urgently, all 32 players in our society were complaining about it.

The course played ok considering the fairways were a bit wet & the grass needed cutting on fairways too. greens were in good
